Mr. Suriya Pimpa, 17 years old, is educating at the 5th Grade at Romkla Burirum school, Burirum province
My parents’ career is farmers. Personally, I like to do all kinds of activities in school especially about any kind of artisan works and activities such as the invention of “artisan flower bouquet”, “traditional dance”, “artisan show dance” all are relevant to the art culture of the Northeast, Thailand.
My dream is to become an archaeologist or a community tour guide because I myself born in Buriram province. I want to disseminate all kinds of Burirum’s heritage especially about art and culture to be more recognized by people around the world.

I and my friend, my family, my community are in the remote rural of Thailand, we are seldom get access to all kinds of ICT tools, training, and application. We all want to know, to use, to apply ICT as one among the tools to be applied to all activities of our people especially me and my friends because we are also being the volunteers of our community. We want ourselves our community people to know how to use ICT technology to better their life, their community. How can we use ICT to manage and operate any level of our community’s development. If possible, we dream to have our own community’ online shop then all the community’s products can be more access to the markets, to be more visible to all the target groups or target markets/ new markets, etc. We are really want to use ICT to start up our smart community e -shop / e- business….
If we know more about how to use ICT / technology more especially about how to use ICT to help start up and manage our community business to be more effective and more opportunities access. So, myself, my generation, my family, and my community is very strongly supported in using ICT as one among the main tools of developing our community as a whole. Currently, the most demand among my generation is how to use ICT to seek more possible good job for ourselves, to seek more relevant and more effective information to feed our won community. And the most important is how to use ICT to start up all levels of smart business in my community which may start up from my own family, I think ICT can help my family business, help my parents to earn more money or extra income to my family as well as my community as a whole.
My community, my family, myself and all my friends are very interested in learning and using ICT in all kinds of more creative ways especially about the creative and innovative business. ICT will help us to learn more and update ourselves into all kinds of changes because the current challenges is not only in the business world also the other development world, there are always lots of changes, lots of competitors, lots of budget concerns and networks. Still lots of challenges ahead and along in running our own business. So, ICT might be the other tools to help all better.
I and my friends, my community want to use ICT / to apply ICT / technology into all kinds of our community’s activities including all kinds of cultural / artisan basis activities.
In view of myself, all the youths especially the youths in the remote communities are quite worried and concerned about ICT/ new emerging technology. We all want to learn and to use it at the best we can. But it seems to be quite less opportunity for us. If we can be trained properly about ICT usage, I am sure that there will be no different between the rural and urban youths in using and applying ICT for all of their betterment.
I believe that many people have their own challenges and have to confront all kinds of challenges daily. I am sure that the positive thinking and knowing how to confront with it will be the sustained way of all kinds of solutions either the personal challenges or any bigger challenges.
Technology / ICT can give use more lesson learned to see the others. So, it is good if all the youths can access more ICT and learn how to make use from ICT because not only themselves to gain benefits from it also their family and their community as a whole. Then finally all will come up to be their own development.
