Mrs Fongnuan Jareonsirivorakul, at 514/1 southern district of Mae Rim, Chiang Mai. Graduated high school level.
My career and expert with well accepted among the community members is the stitching, the artisan weaving, the sewing and dress making skills, embroidery skills, etc. I am the coordinator, the linker of all kinds of women entrepreneurs network in the community as well as the other communities who are doing the same products or the similar products. We have set up the Handicraft Center in the Rural Development Foundation The Foundation as well as its networks agencies have been providing additional trainings.
The sewing and crafting, we have evolved into a strong group of women and girls have participated in both the teaching and learning materials for all members and networks. We can produce fabrics and handicrafts, both for our own consumption and also for all levels of markets. Then got accepted in its professional quality and development as OTOP quality products of Mae Rim district.
“Our group has joined the OTOP Mae Rim district as well as the other higher levels of OTOP. Our standing point is quality and creativity development base on our own culture and design base on our own local wisdom. Currently our products is under the top OTOP 5 stars “Our group has been approved by the government agencies as well as all levels of sectors.
One of the important sectors is the Ministry of ICT who set up the ICT Community Learning Centre is our cluster, and keep training us to use ICT for all kinds of development including our products development. Besides all the young girls, women, and the aged can access to ICT and make use from it. The young girls and women have an opportunity to learn about the wider world via ICT this made them access to more opportunities to reach more opportunities which very difficult to happen before.
Our next step of development is… We want to create own logo, brand, and packaging. I would like to gain more support about how to use ICT for more professional business proposed from both public and private sectors.
